What’s special about this number?

Why people flame

sIFR is a clever technology for allowing rendering of text on the fly in Flash, allowing you to use any font you choose on the web. It’s also notable for being completely degradable (if Flash isn’t present) and accessible.

So, it’s been a while. But that’s what happens when your web hosting gets hacked as a result of a vulnerability in your blog software! So a bit of downtime, reinstalling the latest version of MT, hacking the database to get the installation to work and general cursing later, I’m back and ready to post more photos, links and other rubbish.

I am also looking at migrating to Wordpress after a relatively painless experience setting up a website for the vets in New Malden using it. I’ve also upgraded my gallery to the latest and greatest version.

So, some more links shortly, then some photos, and so forth. There may be a bit of a hiatus next week, but after that I should be firing on all four cylinders.
